Luzzo is a queer filmmaker, producer,, and movement director based in Chicago. As a producer at Full Spectrum Features, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting underrepresented voices, they have worked across short films, episodic content, and feature productions – including Desire Lines (Sundance 2024 Next Jury Prize recipient). Through FSF’s Community Storytellers program, they help transform local residents’ narratives into cinematic works.

 

         They began their career in film as an actor and hold a BFA in Acting with a concentration in Dance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Their multidisciplinary background extends to stunt choreography, intimacy coordination, and yoga instruction, all of which inform their embodied approach to storytelling.

 

          Luzzo champions inclusive production spaces and pushes the boundaries of queer storytelling. Their work doesn’t just represent queer lives—it redefines how they are seen, felt, and remembered.
